Walton Company is launching Varity of product in Bangladesh. Mobile phone section is their very popular and stable section. Walton launched Primo R4 android smartphone in January 9, 2016. Previous version of this smartphone was a very popular phone. Primo R4 is more powerful and has a little bit big screen. Let’s see what this Walton primo R4 smartphone offering us.

Design: This phone is only 7.9 mm thick and weight is only 136 grams with battery. There are two colors available at this moment, black and white. Personally I like black color smartphone. 3.5 mm standard audio jack is located on the top side. Micro USB charging and data syncing port is located on the bottom side beside primary microphone. Volume up/down and power button located on the right side. Left side is empty. Speaker grill looks really attractive which is located on the back side. Overall this is a very good looking and well constricted android smartphone.
Display: Walton primo R4 is a 5 inch smartphone. Its display is IPS type, so viewing angels and color reproduction is very good. Resolution is 1280*720 pixels and this display support up to 5 finger touch input. This display is protected by 3rd generation corning gorilla glass. 3rd generation corning gorilla glass is now old technology but good enough for mid-range phone screen’s protection. Giant mobile phone Manufacture Company like Samsung, HTC, or LG could use previous generation gorilla glass with their mid-range smartphone. They only use gorilla glass with their flagship android smartphone.
Camera and Multimedia: Front camera is BSI 5 mega pixels and rear camera is BSI 8 mega pixels. For testing we took some photos by this phone. All photos were much vivid. This camera is not bad compared to its budget. Nowadays a lot of people take selfie with their smartphone so most of the recent smartphone has a good front camera. Multimedia capability of this smartphone is good enough compared to its price. Speaker is loud enough for ringtone and normal audio listening.
Network: Network reception was very strong during our test. We tested this phone with GrameenPhone SIM card. Call quality is clear and loud. HSPA+ mobile data network was excellent and fast during our test.
Battery: This phone has a lithium-ion 2400 mAh battery which is decent enough for 5 inch phone. Main problem of an android phone is its battery. This battery is user replaceable so you don’t have to worry about battery replace.
